The JRTCA National Trial is the largest gathering of Jack Russell terriers in the world. An average of 600 terriers and their owners come from all areas of the country. A number of the trial events test the working ability of the terrier, specifically, Go to Ground, Brush Hunt, Trailing & Locating, Thunder Tunnel and Super Earth. Racing, Lure coursing, Agility and Conformation are also fan favorites and fun to watch!
· There will be vendors selling a variety of dog/terrier related items.
· Jack Russell Rescue will be there with information about available rescue dogs.
· Jack Russell Research Foundation will have information about genetic testing.
· Newly opened to the public is the Jack Russell Terrier Museum & Crawford Library, located at 16925 York Road, Suite B, Monkton, Md. 21111. Information about the Museum & the November trial will be available in the vendor building.
